Primary Regional Broker Affiliates
One Primary Regional Broker Affiliate (PRBA) will be assigned for each MLS territory. The primary duty of the PRBA is to ensure Mwendo’s access to MLS listings.

Real Estate Board Registration
Firstly, the PRBA must obtain an associate brokers license under Mwendo, LLC. If you are not currently an independent or associate broker, be sure to review whether your state allows you to hold real estate brokers licenses for multiple companies.

MLS Association Membership & Listing Access
Secondly, the PRBA must contact his or her local MLS association, become a member, and apply to access its MLS listings as a broker for Mwendo, LLC.

Compensation
In appreciation for these efforts, PRBAs receive 5% of net income derived from rewards offered by real estate professionals from that MLS territory. As such, developing a comprehensive marketing and advertising campaign to target both real estate agents (to attach rewards to their listings) and the general public (to search for property listings) will bolster transactions and increase your potential revenue.

Fees
The state real estate board and MLS association charge fees for licensing, membership, and MLS access. PRBAs are responsible for paying these fees.

Also, Mwendo charges a one-time $375 RETS/IDX integration fee for each MLS feed that must be incorporated into the website by our technical developers. If there is one or more brokers seeking to act as Associate Regional Broker Affiliates (see below) the RETS/IDX integration fee and the MLS listing access fee may be split between all participants.

Associate Regional Broker Affiliates
Each MLS region may have multiple Associate Regional Broker Affiliates (ARBAs) who support the PRBA in marketing and advertising Mwendo’s service to other real estate professionals and to the general public.

Marketing Plan
Each ARBA must submit a written marketing plan outlining how he or she intends to promote the service within the local and regional community. Some examples for marketing to fellow real estate professionals include advertising in MLS association newsletters or trade magazines. When promoting to the general public consider placing advertisements in newspapers, magazines, and local websites. A no-cost promotion includes simply having colleagues and associates place “Visit Mwendo.com” in their existing and planned marketing materials.

Compensation
In appreciation for these efforts, ARBAs receive 2.5% of net income derived from rewards offered by real estate professionals from that MLS territory. As such, developing a comprehensive marketing and advertising campaign to target both real estate agents (to attach rewards to their listings) and the general public (to search for property listings) will bolster transactions and increase your potential revenue.

Fees
You may be required to share in the cost of the one-time $375 RETS/IDX integration fee if it has not already been paid and the MLS access fee which is split between the PRBA and all ARBAs in the region. Additionally, any cost incurred in marketing, advertising, and promoting our services must be covered at your own expense.
